Law-Related Education, which provides North Carolina teachers with access to People, Programs and Publications designed to accommodate law-related education. The Law-Related Education Department maintains partnership status with We The People, administered nationally by the Center for Civic Education under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Education.
The Law-Related Education Advisory Committee (LREAC) of the North Carolina Bar Association's Foundation is dedicated to serving the public by strengthening and building a fairer, freer, more open society. The LREAC is not only promoting the understanding and respect for the rule of law through interactive law-related and civic education programs for students, teachers and the citizenry of North Carolina, it is helping build in our children and citizens the skills needed for the 21st century.

LRE Calendar< – contains the scheduled LRE calendar.
Event Registration – contains the online Event Registration forms, where individuals, who are interested in participating in LRE events.
LRE Partners – contains information about LRE Partners (educators, legal professionals, and community partners), the LRE Partner registration online application, and where LRE members can update their membership profiles.
Packaged Presentations – obtain information about an individual presentation.
People – contains a description of the LRE People subcommittee, online applications where interested persons can request educator assistance or a speaker for a law-related event.
Programs – contains a description of all of the LRE programs.
Resources – contains links to LRE associated websites, access to the LRE Committee News newsletter, LRE-related PowerPoint Presentations, LRE-related publications, and LRE videos.
Volunteer Materials – contains forms, guidelines, and information on programs for participating volunteers.
