Mock Trial Training
Mock Trail Training (MTT) co-chaired by Doug McClanahan and Lucy Austin is a one-day workshop at several regions across the state and primarily targets North Carolina elementary and middle school teachers to learn more about courtroom procedure and how to conduct mock trials and moot courts in a classroom setting.
You will hear from and interact with lawyers and other legal professionals. MTT is designed to align with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study at each education level. You will play a role in an actual mini-mock trial and be provided with resource materials.
